The Raftaarein contest

To kick-start this week, we presented you with a super-awesome video of the latest song 'Raftaarein' featuring a sneak peek into making of Ra.One. It is apparent that Ra.One truly is a visual effects masterpiece; the amount of VFX used in the film has outnumbered the 2009 Hollywood film ‘Avatar’. It is reported to have close to 3,500 VFX shots (occupying about 135 minutes of footage), with 800 of them being solely dedicated to G.One's suit alone, thus exceeding the total amount of shots that was used in Avatar.

The gamers day out!

w00t! w00t! w00t! It was literally the gamers’ day! Not only did they play super cool games, won amazing prizes but also got a chance to battle it out with superstar SRK. We are talking about the Ra.One NVIDIA GeForce LAN event that happened on Friday in Mumbai where 1000+ gamers had an extravaganza of fun and action throughout the day. 

The excited and enthusiastic gamers lined up since morning to get themselves in and were bowled over by interesting array of games, contests, quizzes, 3D gaming systems,  sweepstakes, Lucky draws, LIVE streaming and most importantly SRK’s presence. Tournaments of popular games like Counter Strike 1.6, Call of Duty 4, FIFA, Need for Speed, Grand Auto Thefts kept them engaged while Anchors also made sure those participants and the present guests do not miss out on any fun! 

 

 The star cast from the film also attended the event; the first to interact with the crowd was the funny man, Suresh Menon. He had the gamers in splits with his striking wit sense and interacted with gamers for some time. People went crazy when they met ‘The Game-othic’ Lucifer aka Prateek. He showed some of his impeccable moves at the game and awe-inspired everyone present there.

The mega gaming event had a closing ceremony in which superstar Shahrukh Khan played Ra.One and FIFA games with the winners and interacted with the gamers. A technology and gaming enthusiast at heart, SRK said "I think it's very important in our everyday lives that technology helps us" Since his new movie Ra.One centre’s around a videogame designer whose creation becomes dangerous reality! The excitement was doubled up!

The first of its kind, the event had effective presence online as well. For the first time, a LIVE event showcased the digital innovation by way of live interactive contests, Puzzles and lot of other fun elements hosted on the Ra.One official website http://www.raonemovie.com/  simultaneously. The event was LIVE streamed on Ra.One’s official YouTube channel making it a treat for the people who couldn’t attend the event in Mumbai.

Ra.One Volkswagen Press conference

Awesome is the word for the new 'Phaeton' car that Volkswagen presented to the better half of our super-hero. To celebrate the association of the German brand with the much-awaited upcoming movie Ra.One, a press conference was held this Tuesday in Mumbai. Volkswagen India presented the keys of a brand new Pheaton model to Ms Gauri Khan, producer of RA. One and Shahrukh Khan's wife.

Exclusive World Premier of Ra.One Tamil Movie songs

Music has no language; Ra.One Fans have confirmed this by loving the new videos of songs from the Tamil version of the movie. There was an exclusive world premier of the Tamil songs of the movie on the official Ra.One YouTube channel this Sunday. While ‘Chammak Challo’ Tamil teaser caught many eyes, people could not stop appreciating the romantic ‘Dildaara’ Tamil teaser.

 

The music was officially launched on Monday by Shah Rukh Khan in Chennai. Along with SRK, the popular South Indian actress, Suhasini Maniratnam was also present for the launch event. Now watch out for the longer version of ‘Chammak Challo’ and ‘Dildaara’ in Tamil which is going to be out very soon.

Ra.One's Army - The faces of Evil Revealed [Part 1]

Apart from being the first superhero social game, do you know what makes the Ra.One India games so exceptional? A superhero who has to fight not one but an army of 10 evils! Incredible is the word! This engaging game has ‘Ra.One’ as the primary antagonist. He exhibits ten of the most deadly traits in existence; all trapped within 10 different soulless creatures, who serve his every purpose. 1. Meatloaf

The first tier in the game who serves Ra.One’s army is the Meatloaf, a disgusting amalgamation of flesh, meat and metal. Symbolizes ‘Greed’ and will consume his enemies to sustain his honor.

Fifth in command is the Trickster. The symbol of ‘Trickery’ was created by Ra.One himself by trapping the spirits of many dangerous souls in one metal body. It uses unimaginable power against its enemies.

Gamers Delight!

Ra.One indeed has a treat for every game lover out there! The latest edition was the PlayStation’s ‘Ra.One-The Game’. It was launched earlier this week, making it the first collaboration between PlayStation and the Bollywood.  The event was hosted by Roshan Abbas and attended by Shahrukh Khan, Arjun Rampal and Armaan from the movie.  

About Ra.One - The game:

It's available for PS, PS2, and PS3. Shah Rukh has given a voiceover for the game, which includes 6 unique chapters…
